1. Welcome to Lebana Academy
These Terms govern your use of the Lebana Academy learning platform and its courses, programs, resources, and related services.
By creating an account or accessing the LMS, you agree to these Terms.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- Not sharing your account with another person
- Notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised
Each learner should use their own account unless otherwise authorised.
3. Courses and Learning Content
Lebana Academy provides educational content through three current learning areas:
School of Life
Courses designed to support personal formation, growth, identity, purpose, and practical life development.
Masterclasses
Focused learning experiences designed around specific skills, subjects, and areas of development.
Tailored Programs
Structured programs designed around particular organisational, community, leadership, or developmental needs.
Course availability, structure, instructors, content, and schedules may change from time to time.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials
- Copy or redistribute course materials without permission
- Record, reproduce, or commercially distribute protected course content
- Attempt to bypass LMS security
- Submit another person’s work as your own
- Misrepresent your course completion or certification
- Interfere with the LMS or other learners’ access
- Use the platform for unlawful or abusive purposes
5. Assignments and Assessments
Where courses include assignments, quizzes, or other assessments, learners are expected to submit their own work unless collaboration is explicitly permitted.
Lebana Academy may withhold or revoke completion recognition where there is evidence of academic dishonesty or misuse of the platform.
6. Certificates
Where a course offers a certificate, eligibility may depend on completing the required lessons, assessments, assignments, attendance, or other requirements established for that course.
A certificate confirms completion of the stated Lebana Academy program. It should not be interpreted as a professional licence, accreditation, degree, or government qualification unless explicitly stated.
7. Intellectual Property
Course materials—including videos, written materials, graphics, presentations, assessments, frameworks, and downloadable resources—remain the property of Lebana Academy, Rarebuild, or their respective content owners.
Access to a course does not transfer ownership of its content to you.
8. Educational Disclaimer
Lebana Academy’s courses and resources are provided for educational and developmental purposes.
They are not a substitute for professional advice in areas such as medicine, law, finance, mental health, or other regulated fields.
9. Platform Availability
We work to keep the LMS reliable and accessible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate an account where a user:
- Violates these Terms
- Misuses course content
- Compromises platform security
- Engages in abusive or harmful behaviour
- Uses the platform fraudulently
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
11. Changes to the Academy
We may update courses, programs, instructors, content, features, or platform functionality as the Academy develops.
We may also update these Terms when necessary.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
